The alternate investment political platform Yieldstreet is the latest company to reveal that its customers were affected bythe recent information breach at Evolve Bank and Trust , TechCrunch has exclusively learned .
On Tuesday , Yieldstreet spokesperson Clare Burrows affirm to TechCrunch that “ some Yieldstreet customer information may have been impact ” as a result of the Evolve breach .
“ We have commune this to all potentially affected client and continue to stick with best practices regarding third - political party cybersecurity incident , ” Burrows say in an email .
burrow declined to say exactly what variety of customer information was stolen , nor how many customers were affected .
Last week , Evolve , which isa democratic fiscal institution for fintech startup , announce that a cyberattack affected “ the data point and personal information of some Evolve retail bank customer and financial engineering partners ’ customers . ”
As of this writing , the following companies have confirm to TechCrunch that their customers were affected by the Evolve breach : Affirm , Branch , EarnIn , Marqeta , Melio , Mercury , Yieldstreet andWise .
On Monday , Jason Mikula , a fintech reporter , drop a line on Xthat Branch , an Evolve partner , send word client that it was impress by the Evolve incident .

A Branch spokesperson told TechCrunch on Tuesday that the company “ continues to work out with Evolve to understand the orbit and the impact this incident may have on Branch account holder . ”
“ Out of an abundance of carefulness , we issued an electronic mail presentment to account holder about the incident and urged them to exercise alertness in monitoring account activity and protect their account credential . We also assure them that the refuge and security of the Branch platform and mobile software had not been compromised , ” the spokesperson wrote in an e-mail .
None of the above companies reply to TechCrunch ’s postulation for comment , except for SoLo , Nomad , and Bitfinex . A SoLo spokesperson decline to remark . A Nomad interpreter confirmed that it was affected by the Evolve breach , but also said that “ it ’s important to spotlight that all Nomad story are secure and can extend to be used unremarkably , ” and that the company end its partnership with Evolve last year . A Bitfinex spokesperson said that the troupe ’s “ systems and data were not compromise in this incident . ”
It ’s likely that we still do n’t know of several other companies . When reached by TechCrunch , Evolve spokesperson Eric Helvie declined to say how many of the cant ’s partner company or clients were affected by the break . Instead , Helvie mention us toEvolve ’s blog office regarding the incident .

UPDATE , July 3 10:20 a.m. ET : This story has been updated to clear up that one of the companies that has been reported to have been affected by the Evolve falling out isCopper Banking , and notCopper . The two are dissimilar companies , and a Copper voice said that “ no copper color data is processed by Evolve Bank , and as a result , no Copper information could potentially be impacted by a breach of Evolve Bank ’s system . ” We regret the error .
