Tumblr is make the move to WordPress . After its 2019acquisition byWordPress.com parent companyAutomatticin a$3 million fire cut-rate sale , the new owner has focused on improving Tumblr ’s program and growing its receipts . Now Automattic will shift Tumblr ’s back end over to WordPress , Automattic say in a blogpostpublished on Wednesday .
The company elucidate that it will not switch TumblrintoWordPress ; it will just run on WordPress .
“ We acquire Tumblr to benefit from its differences and strengths , not to water it down . We love Tumblr ’s sleek card experience and its current mathematical product focussing , ” the C. W. Post explain . “ We ’re not modify that . We ’re talking about running Tumblr ’s backend on WordPress . You wo n’t even notice a conflict from the outside , ” it noted .
Automattic says the move to WordPress will have its advantages , as it will make it easier to share the companionship ’s work across the two platforms .
