The Federal Aviation Administration is requiring Elon Musk ’s SpaceX and Jeff Bezos ’ Blue Origin to inquire what went wrong on their several mega - rocket tryout trajectory this week .

The regulatorsaid both companiesmust do what ’s known as a “ mischance investigating . ” These probe need the society and the FAA work together to translate what go untimely , why it went wrong , and take corrective action . In both casing , the governor will have to sign off on the companies before those rocket can vaporize again . It ’s not straight off clear how long that will take .
