Two large defense tech role player , Palantir and Anduril , are tattle to tech company including SpaceX , OpenAI , Saronic , and Scale AI about forming a consortium to bid on Pentagon contracts , concord toa story in the Financial Times .
The goal , the FT say , is to challenge the dominance of “ prime ” defense contractors like Lockheed Martin , Raytheon , and Boeing . One unnamed participant described this as an feat to “ provide a young propagation of defence contractors , ” while another said this will be a more effective elbow room to sell the government cutting - edge weapon system and other technical school .
