Last Friday , AI startup OpenAIfiled a unexampled practical app to trademark productsassociated with its brand — “ OpenAI ” — with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ( USPTO ) . Normally , this would n’t be newsworthy . Companies file for trademarks all the time . But in the program , OpenAI wind at new product lines both nearer - terminus and of a more speculative nature .
For example , the filing lists ironware include earphone , goggles , glass , remotes , laptop computer and phone cases , smartwatches , sassy jewellery , and practical and augmented realism headset “ for AI - assisted fundamental interaction , simulation , and training . ”

OpenAI ’s architectural plan for quantum computing — assuming it has any exercise set in endocarp — are murkier . But last yr , the inauguration added to its technological team a former quantum systems architect at quantum computing startup PsiQuantum .
