Jio Platforms , the subsidiary of India ’s conglomerate Reliance Industries and the country ’s largest telecom hustler , Wednesday announced a partnership with Elon Musk ’s SpaceX to offer Starlink ’s satellite broadband internet services to its customer in India .
Under the agreement , which is subject to regulatory approvals , Jio and SpaceX will explore using Starlink to extend the phone company ’s offerings , while Jio will betray Starlink equipment through its retail electrical outlet and online shopfront , the telephone company said in a press program line .
Jio will also help “ found a mechanics to support customer table service installation and energizing ” for Starlink equipment , it said .
