Every meter I open myInbox , there is a small reminder saying “ Inbox by Gmail is function out after March 2019 . Get more done using Gmail with your favorite Inbox features work up decently in ” . Every time , I see this message , I get through ‘ Not now ’ and with each dog , my center dies a little . Okay , I admit . It ’s not as bad as a detachment . But , seriously , Google just down the best email app .
Ever since I take off work full clock time on TechWiser(April 2014 ) , Inbox has become an built-in part of my workflow . Treatingemailas a to - do list ; replying the urgent mail first while doze the one that can wait , has promote my productivity .
The Worst Part is
There is no real alternative to Inbox .
I recognise , every clip a big company kills a armed service , there are ‘ best alternative apps ‘ clause popping all over the Internet . Heck , we write some of them too , at TechWiser . But this time , we did n’t . cause ? There is no straight alternative to Inbox , yet .
Ever since the news show broke out , I ’ve trying several alternatives to the Inbox – such as Gmail , Proton Mail , Aqua Mail and many more . But none of them come closer to Inbox . Google take Gmail now has most of the Inbox feature such as snoozing e-mail , voguish reply , and reminder ; which is true . But in my opinion , Google never really understand why people like Inbox .
Inbox is so Much Better
Here are a few Inbox ’s features I used every day :
1 . reflexive Trip Bundles – Even though , I did n’t travel that much , having all your ticket and hotel reserve bundles in one Email is just amazing .
2 . Inbox Zero – While Inbox was n’t the first one to treat unread electronic mail stress , the way they follow through ‘ Mark As Read ’ worked for me as no other Email app did .
3 . One stop terminus for all monitor – Got a credit rating card bill to pay ? Hiring email I need to follow up ? Everything I need to be reminded of is well sit down in the reminder tab .
4 . ultimately an Ad - costless email – It ’s deplorable that I even have to cite this , but ads in the electronic mail app are just an invasion of concealment .
Unfortunate , I can not find any of these features on the Gmail , yet .
Google has a History of Abandoning Apps
And I infer whenGoogle kill the half baked project , such as – Google Glasses , Google + , Reply , maybe even Stadia in hereafter ; but shoot down a well - round off Email app without any decent choice , well , it ’s just sad .
