It ’s the topic on everyone ’s mind : Are Gen Z workersactuallydifferent ?

TechCrunch seek to find out at this year’sDisrupt 2024 . We sat down with SignalFire ’s Heather Doshay , Comprehensive.io ’s Roger Lee , and CapitalG ’s Lauren Illovsky to chat about how to lease and retain talent . One topic that came up was how unseasoned worker are much unlike than their onetime counterparts .

“ It was the same with millennials , correct ? ” Illovsky ask onstage . “ We remember when boomer criticized millennials , and now millennials were criticizing Gen Z. I love Gen Z , too . I believe there ’s an appreciation for how much they push the edge and impel you to think . ”

She suppose employers can either be ill-tempered about it or essay to see the world from a different linear perspective and how it affects what Gen Z can bring to the tabular array . Lee said that companies should find ways to be more transparent with their employees , which can make them suffer out from the companies that are n’t .
